Problem Statement
The expansion of AI industry offers more flexible job opportunities for persons with disabilities, such as data annotation.
However, the training and software required can be complex and expensive, creating challenges for persons with disabilities to pursue these opportunities.
Solution
With the automation of processes and simplification of steps, the programme enhances features of Tictag’s existing mobile annotation platform. This enables persons with disabilities to access job opportunities in data annotation more effectively.
Key enhancements will include:
• Simplified onboarding and automated payment system replacing token-based payment;
• Customised audio/video instructions;
• Tagger communication tool for real-time staff support;
• Tagger analytic dashboard for progress monitoring;
• Task matching system to align tasks with individual abilities; and
• Software as a Service (SaaS) Marketplace enabling annotation specialists with disabilities to offer their services to AI companies.
Outcomes
The programme aims to offer persons with disabilities, especially those facing challenges in finding traditional employment, opportunities to work in the burgeoning artificial intelligence industry.
